Terms and Conditions - Queensland Demolition & Remediation
These terms and conditions outline the legal obligations, rights, and responsibilities governing the use of QLD Demolition’s services. By engaging our services, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:
1. Scope of Services
QLD Demolition will provide demolition services as agreed upon between the client and QLD Demolition.
The client is responsible for providing accurate information about the scope of work, site conditions, and any potential hazards.
2. Pricing and Payment
Pricing for services will be determined based on the scope of work, site conditions, and other relevant factors.
A deposit may be required before work begins.
Full payment is due upon completion of the project, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
3. Permits and Regulations
The client is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and approvals required for the demolition project. QLD Demolition will adhere to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations while carrying out the demolition work.
4. Site Preparation:
The client is responsible for clearing the site of any valuable items or possessions before demolition begins. QLD Demolition will ensure proper safety measures are in place before starting work.
5. Liability and Insurance
QLD Demolition will carry appropriate insurance coverage to cover damages or accidents related to the demolition work. The client agrees to indemnify and hold QLD Demolition harmless for any claims, losses, or damages incurred during the project.
6. CHANGE ORDERS
Any changes to the agreed-upon scope of work will be requested in writing and approved by both parties.
Additional charges may apply for changes in scope.
7. DELAYS AND FORCE MAJEURE
QLD Demolition is not liable for delays caused by factors beyond its control, including weather, acts of God, or other unforeseen circumstances.
8. TERMINATION
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice if the other party breaches the terms outlined in this Agreement.
Termination may result in payment for work completed up to that point and any applicable cancellation fees.
9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to engage in good faith negotiations to resolve the issue.
If a resolution cannot be reached, legal action may be pursued in accordance with applicable laws.
10. CONFIDENTIALITY
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the course of the project.
11. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia.
12. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements, oral or written.
By engaging QLD Demolition’s services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. This Agreement is effective from the date of engagement and remains in effect until the completion of the project.
